The sight of yellow jersey wearer Bradley Wiggins helping set up the lead-out train for Mark Cavendish at the Tour de France finale indicates the teamwork that made Sky Procycling such a success this year.
Sky’s sprinter Cavendish rode away from the peloton for the stage win on the Champs Elysees on Sunday, marking his 4th career victory in Paris and his 23rd career victory in the Tour.

It looks like it’s all over for defending Tour de France champion Cadel Evans, as he struggled on three mountain passes in Stage 16 on Wednesday and dropped from 4th to 7th in the overall battle for 1st place.
Evans’ teammate Tejay Van Garderen (a native of Tacoma, Washington) also lost some time on the leaders, but did well enough that he moved up one place into 6th overall.
While Evans’ BMC teammates rallied around their suffering leader in an attempt to help him to the finish, Van Garderen was allowed to ride ahead to solidify his lead in the white jersey competition for best young rider.
