Faulty mounting hardware on aero handlebars made for Specialized Bicycle Components has prompted a recall of 8,300 units.
The Morgan Hill-based bicycle maker says a bolt that attaches the aero handlebars to the bike can loosen, possibly causing a fall. The company said it has received four reports of bolts loosening, but no injuries.
