CA: Grizzly Peak Century

Rider check-in is 6:30 am to 8:30 am at Campolindo (7:30 am to 10:00 am at Island Picnic Area in Tilden Park if you use the alternative car-free start). We urge slower riders to get an early morning start.

Route Options

There are three routes to choose from, all of them very hilly: 52 miles, 76 miles, and 102 miles. The latter two routes are identical for the first 73 miles (the north loop), at which point the metric century route returns to the finish while the full century route continues on to the south. After a very popular debut in 2018 the 52 mile “half century” returns this year. This route is the heart of our longer north loop route, offering plenty of climbing, great views, and a sufficient amount of exercise. It is the Century Chairperson’s favorite option!

We have dropped the 110 mile route this year in favor of the safer and more scenic 102 mile out-and back on Redwood Road.

Fees

Entry fees for 2019 range from $65 (early registration) to $85 (century day, if available). The ride is limited to 1,000 riders and has sold out for many years, so you should register early if possible.
