Danish cyclist Brian Vandborg (CSC) won Friday's stage of the Tour de Georgia in a close finish in Dahlonega, according to the running commentary at CyclingNews.
Ranked 10th in the overall standings at the start of the day, he'll move up on Americans Floyd Landis, David Zabriskie, and Bobby Julich.

Just two days after announcing he'd retire after this year's Tour de France, Lance Armstrong appears to be getting back to his winning form.
Armstrong finished #3 behind Peter Wrolich of Gerolsteiner and Manuel Quinziato of Saunier Duval Prodir in Wednesday's stage of the Tour de Georgia.
