Tour de France: The soap opera begins – Ullrich crashes; surprise tests

Jan Ullrich crashed into the rear window of a T-Mobile team car Friday, the BBC reports. Ullrich is the '97 Tour de France winner and one of Lance Armstrong's most outspoken challengers.

Tour de France: Bruyneel mind games?

So is Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team manager Johan Bruyneel serious with his list of 3 strongest challengers for beating Lance Armstrong at the Tour de France this year?

Biking Bis results for Lance Armstrong poll

Will Lance Armstrong break the Tour de France record he set last year and win a 7th Tour de France championship this summer?
Three-fourths of you think he will. That's according to the poll that's been running for about two weeks at Biking Bis.
Interestingly, the voting heavily favored Armstrong the first few days, but dropped to about 66% at …

The struggle to be Lance Armstrong

A friend sent me a link to the Booknoise.net Q & A with the author of “Lance Armstrong's War,” the latest book to come out on The Boss and just in time for the Tour de France.
The author, Daniel Coyle, a writer for Outside magazine, moved the family to Girona, Spain, and spent …
