Cookie Lady – 2000

While riding on Bike Virginia in 2000, I veered off the route at the top of the Skyline Drive and coasted down to Afton. The bicycle was still at the water faucet, and June Curry was still dispensing cookies. The walls of her home are papered with thousands of postcards.
