Vintage global bicycle tour photos on display at UCLA

We’ve all probably seen photos, slides and digital images taken on bicycle tours. But an exhibition at the Fowler Museum at UCLA displays amazing photographs taken by two early bicycle explorers traveling in the Middle East more than 100 years ago.

UVEX recalls 46,000 bicycle helmets

Germany-based helmet maker UVEX is recalling 46,800 bicycle helmets because the chinstrap can fail. Also, the helmet does not comply with impact guidelines of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Driver gets 15 years in prison for hit ‘n’ run cyclist fatality

A jury in Houston, Texas, chose not to “blame the victim” in a hit-and-run fatality of a bicyclist and instead sentenced the motorist to 15 years in prison on Thursday.
