Stinky Spoke — The Stinky Spoke is a 16-mile ride over a mountain bike course in hills east of Sammamish River Trail. Presented by Rotary Club of Redmond.Traditionally one of the wettest and coldest days of the year. (See pictures from 2010 Stinky Spoke.) Washington Bike Summit — See March
Chilly Hilly — Feb. 26, 2023 year’s first big ride by Cascade Bicycle Club. Loops around Bainbridge Island for 33 miles, regardless of weather. Register at Colman Dock in Seattle or Community Center on Bainbridge Island. Record-breaking ride in 2011 — see pics and story.
Willy Nilly (Same Day, Different Island) — Feb. 26, 2023 Avoid crowds and registration fees on this early season ride around Vashon Island. Starts at Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle, ferry to Vashon, then choose a route around the island. No rest stops per se, but plenty of cafes, taverns, and coffee shops along the route, as well as 2 bike shops.
Seattle Bike Swap — Feb. 11, 2023 Vendors offer new and used bicycle related goods for sale. 9 a.m. til 3 p.m. at Exposition Hall, Seattle Center. Sponsored by Cascade Bicycle Club. (Rescheduled from March due to corona virus)
Seattle Bike Show — To be announced The two-day event will be held at Century Link Field Event Center and presented by Cascadia Events. Bike parking will be available. Saturday – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dandy Daffodil Tweed Ride — To be announced in 2023 A bike ride around La Conner with a bit of style.
Bike Works Auction and Dinner (Bikecitement!) — To be announced Fund-raiser for non-profit that encourages youth to learn about repairing and using bicycles. Fisher Pavilion, Seattle Center.
Gran Fondo Ephrata — March 19, 2023 The Beezley Burn marks the official start of mountain bike season. Options of 88 or 45 miles of rough Washington state backroads. Presented by Ride Vicious Cycling and Event Promotion.
