A list of some private and non-profit companies that provide bicycle tours in the Pacific Northwest.
Bicycle Adventures — Operating since 1984, features cycling trips on San Juan Islands in Puget Sound; the volcanoes — Mt. Rainier, Mount St. Helens, and Mt. Adams in Washington and Mt. Hood in Oregon; and the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Some trips including hiking and kayaking. Also California and more.
Cascade Bicycle Club — The largest bicycle club in the Pacific Northwest offers fully supported long-weekend bicycle tours with overnights at motels. See tours in eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon Coast.

Cycle America — Cyclists can drop in and out of this tour company’s cross-country or Pacific Coast rides. The Northwest Sampler covers Washington, Idaho, and Montana as the first section of the cross-country tour. There’s also a Pacific Coast Combo that runs from Washington, through Oregon into California.
IBike — The bike touring division of the International Bicycle Fund has tours around the world, including one that leads cyclists through the islands of Washington state and British Columbia; look for the Rolling the Islands of the Salish Sea tour.
Silver Bike Tours — This eastern Washington bike tour company features one-day tours on bicycle paths in the area (offers shuttle, bike rental, lodging). The tour company strings together three rail-to-trails routes — the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes, the Route of the Hiawatha, and the Centennial Trail — for a three-day ride for cyclists in Idaho, Washington, and Montana.
Smith & Miller Productions — A small outfit leads bicyclists on its four-day Rolling Pub Crawls through Oregon. Medium distances (21 – 65 miles) and nights at McMenamins lodges along the way.
Sustainable Energy in Motion Bicycle Tours — The Portland Peace and Justice Center features bike tours of one to three weeks along the Oregon Coast, and Willamette Valley.
TerraTrek — This tour company, based in Friday Harbor, Washington, offers camping and luxury tours in the San Juan Islands in Washington’s Puget Sound, as well as other locations.
Timberline Adventures — This outfit’s Pacific NW tours comprise four tours: the Olympics to Puget Sounds islands; Rogue River Rambler, Northwest Passage and Columbia/Kootenay River Classic.
Wild Heart Cycling — This Bend, Oregon-based outfit offers 7 bicycle tours in Oregon and 2 in Northern California. Tour include Cascades sampler, Elkhorn Mountain, Willamette Valley and Oregon Coast, among others.
