We have a wonderful annual event “Share The Road Ride” on October 8th.
This year we will have a 25 mile, 50 mile, 60 mile metric century, a bypass and challenge century.
All proceeds go to the Soaring Spirits Foundation, a not for profit organization started by a woman who’s husband was killed while cycling.

Most of us cyclists know of someone that has been tragically killed or hurt on our bike paths.

The entry fees are tax deductible. Trek Bikes donates 2 bikes and we have hundreds of other raffles and gifts.
We have a safety class for kids, bounce house and kids and free bike repair and helmet adjustments.

How can we get this event posted to your site?

  2. Come ride the 19th Holstein Hundred Charity Bike/Walk, Sat., August 18, 2012.
    Register online: http://www.wmss.org/holstein

Choose the right distance: 100, 65, 35, or 15-mile route winding along the Marin and Sonoma coast, Tomales Bay and rolling hills with happy Holstein cows and enjoy locally grown and baked food, begins/ends at Petaluma JUNIOR High, Petaluma, CA 94952

New walking/hiking event from Junior High to/from Helen Putnam Regional Park.
Call West Marin Senior Services 415/ 663-8148

Our mission is helping seniors live long, live well and live at home.

Recreational riders are encouraged to set their personal best and enjoy the beautiful views from Mount Diablo’s south side. Since maximum effort should be rewarded, a collection of great prizes awaits top finishers. A selection of other prizes and goodies will be awarded to winners in 16 different age categories. The youngest and oldest rider, to complete the course, will also be recognized.
A new “Team Challenge” has been add to this year’s event. Now, after you register as an individual Road Bike participant you can also create a team, where you and a minimum of 3 of your friends can compete against other teams for the best combined time up the mountain. You make a team during your registration under the ‘Event Questions’ by creating a team name and indicating whether it is an all-Male, an all-Female or Coed team. Then tell your friends to look for and join your Team when they are registering. You can have as many members as you like on your Team but only the top 4 finisher’s* time will be used to determine the “combined time” for your Team up the mountain.
