Limited recall for Giant brands Sedona and Cypress

Giant Bicycle is recalling 76 Sedona and Cypress brand bicycles.

 According to a press release, the rear axle of the bikes is harder than required in specifications and could crack. No injuries have been reported.

The bicycles that are subject to recall were made in China and sold in dealerships after mid-May 2005 for about $300.

GhostCycle tracks Seattle bike accidents

Bicycles painted a ghoulish white are appearing around Seattle to mark locations of car-bike accidents.
The displays are the work of the GhostCycle bike accident awareness project. The activists want to draw attention to particularly hazardous locations where bike accidents happen.
