SRAM recalls 25,000 hydraulic brake systems for road bicycles

A limited product recall of SRAM hydraulic brakes for road bicycles announced last fall has been expanded to include all of the Chicago-based company’s hydraulic brake systems for road bikes.

Trek recalls 2013 Madone bicycles

Trek is recalling 6,800 Madone bicycles because of a faulty bolt on the front brake quick release. The bolt can come loose, causing the cable clamp to come off and make the brake inoperable.
