Voices from the road; bicycle tour blogs

What's the latest on the bicycle tour riders that I've reported on in recent weeks? See the “On the Road Bicycle Tour Blogs” web page that references their stories and links to their blogs and websites.

Here's their progress, last time I checked:

Don Boehley, the 9/11 bicycle tour rider — He has pedaled up the Pacific Coast and is heading east in Washington state.

Joe Bowen and Cliff Cantrell, the Kentucky bicycle tourists who are retracing Bowen's 1967 bike tour for kids online in Eastern Kentucky — They're struggling through the rugged Sierra Nevada in northern California.

Pat Clements, the private school teacher who is riding his bicycle cross-country on America's historic trails — Clements is now pedaling the Trail of Tears portion of the bicycle tour and has just crossed the Mississippi River into Missouri.

Is there someone else I can add? They all have interesting stories to tell. Drop me a line at ebis50@yahoo.com
