Norwegian cyclist Thor Hushovd says he's sick and won't be able to represent his country during the 2008 Olympics that starts next weekend in Beijing.

The 30-year-old cyclist on Credit Agricole won Stage 2 of the Tour de France on July 6, but struggled later on.

He's quoted in VeloNews: “It's stupid and very bitter but I have to think of my health. I struggled on the Tour de France and I was sick.”
