It looks like the Los Angeles Times was another one of the media outlets that received private arbitration testimony given by Betsy and Frank Andreu in the Lance Armstrong vs. SCA Promotions lawsuit.
Instead of pulling a couple of quotes and running with it two weeks ago, the LA Times story in today's editions examines all the doping charges that arose in the arbitration hearing. It's the most complete report I've seen on the issue.
In addition to the Andreus' testimony regarding the hospital room visit and the Greg LeMond testimony, there's a detailed explanation of why the French lab believed Armstrong doped in the 1999. There's also documentation of conversations and instant messages among cyclists regarding doping and blood transfusions, surrepticious meetings between Armstrong and Italian Dr. Michele Ferrari, and more.
But in the end, it all amounts just to more insinuations and allegations. There's no way for anyone, including the LA Times, to draw a conclusion.
