Lance Armstrong movie director has a full plate

Producer-director Frank Marshall tells IF magazine that he's planning to direct “The Lance Armstrong Story.” It has to find its place among a slew of other sequels and documentaries he's working on, though, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

Marshall, who hit the big time by producing “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, has finished up a documentary for IMAX, “Roving Mars”, and says he's currently working on sequels to “Indiana Jones”, “Jurassic Park” and the “Bourne” series. (Didn't Armstrong hint that Bourne star Matt Damon might play him?)

He's also working on a film version of the book, “The Perfect Mile,” about the contest between John Landy, Roger Bannister and Wes Santee to break the four-minute mile.

Laying out all his work, he tells IF Magazine, “So there I am. It's going to take us until 2010.”
