Just to get it on the record, Levi Leipheimer of Santa Rosa, California, won the Tour of Germany on Tuesday.

Leipheimer took the lead in last week's climb up the Rettenbachferner in Austria and held off Germany's Jan Ullrich through the rest of the race, including Monday's individual time trial. Ullrich finished in second, 31 seconds behind.

This is a big win for Leipheimer, 31, who rides for Gerolsteiner, but formerly rode with Lance Armstrong on US Postal. He also won the mountains jersey. More Tour of Germany results at Cyclingnews.
