Flying Wheels— June 3, 2023 Several cycling options in the largest bike century event in Washington. Includes century (considered tune-up for 1-day STP in July) and metric century (tune up for 2-day STP); leave from Redmond; sponsored by Cascade Bicycle Club.

Peninsula Metric Century — June 4, 2023 A self-supported bike ride with three options for either a full or half metric century (64 or 31 miles) and a full century beginning from the Narrows Park and Ride on 6th Avenue in Tacoma. Both routes cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge as the long route goes to Port Orchard and the shorter goes to Southworth

Tour de Mason Lake — June 10, 2023 Bicyclists choose from 20, 32 or 44 mile circuits with medium and rolling hills. Ride through rural Mason County around serene Mason Lake. Past riders have seen deer, eagles, coyotes, and other wildlife. Snacks and water served around the 20 mile point. Benefits the Karen Hilburn Cancer Fund.

Lake to Lake Bike Ride June 10, 2023 Explores Bellevue on side roads and bike trails. Benefits Bellevue Youth Camp scholarships. Starts at Robinswood Community Park. Two options — 9 and 22 miles.

Evergreen Mountain Bike Festival June 10-11, 2023Races, raffles, demos and contests in Port Gamble. (On-site camping is available.) Presented by Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance.

Gran Fondo Ellensburg— June 11, 2023 The course is just shy of 90 miles with 7500′ of climbing.  There will be approx 36 miles of gravel that climbs 2600′ in 6 miles.  Think Forest Service gravel, not GFE gravel.  Then another 27 miles of rolling pavement back to Ellensburg. Also a 52-mile option. Meets at Mt Stuart Elementary School. Presented by Vicious Cycle Cycling and Event Promotions.

Painted Cyclists of Fremont Solstice Parade  — June 17, 2023 Cyclists adorned in nothing but paint and a smile are a regular part of the Seattle neighborhood’s Solstice parade, an event scheduled during the Art Festival . Check website for date.

Bicycle Weekends – Seattle June 17-18; June 24-25, 2023 Lake Washington Boulevard is closed to all but local vehicular traffic from 10 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday from Mt. Baker Beach and Seward Park.

Tour de BlastJune 17, 2023 Bicycle ride through blast zone of Mount St. Helens; 33, 67, or 82 mile options. Starts at Toutle Lake High School, 10 miles east of I-5 on Spirit Lake Memorial Highway; Longview Rotary Club

Gravel Unravel – Bon Jon Passout — June 17, 2023 Based in Quilcene at the base of the Olympics, the ride starts at Worthington Park. Routes head over Bon Jon Pass and pass through blooming wild rhododendrons in the forest. Options of 32, 55 and 80 miles.

Spokane Summer Parkways June 21, 2023 An annual bicycle event in Spokane.

Chelan Cycle de Vine — June 24, 2023 Includes options of 30, 45 65 miles for roadies, plus a newly routed 38-mile gravel and road ride for gravel bikers. Finishes with pasta feed. Starts and ends at Chelan Riverwalk Park, with additional parking next door at Chelan High School.

Ride the Willapa — June 24, 2023 A one-day out-and-back ride on the Willapa Hills Trail, starting at the Adna Trailhead. In addition to out-and-back rides, other routes combine the trail with local roads in West Lewis County.

Cycle Washington — Not in 2023 Adventure Cycling Association presents this fully supported week-long bicycle tour of Washington. Begins at Stevens Pass with a long downhill ride to Lake Wenatchee. Continues north to Winthrop, crosses Washington and Rainey Passes. Arriving at the Puget Sound, cyclists will take the ferry to San Juan Islands, then returns to Issaquah.

 Snohomish Ride to Defeat ALS — 2023 to be announced Charity bike ride for Evergreen Chapter of the ALS Foundation; 25, 45 or 65 miles. Ride based in Snohomish.

Bike N Juice Festival2023 to be announced A bike festival and race for kids 12 and under. Meets at Leavenworth Ski Hill from 9 a.m. until noon. Bring a bike, helmet and water. Presented by Weyerhaeuser.

Sea Tri Kan — 2023 to be announced A 400-mile charity bike ride of Washington state to raise money for refugees. The bike tour starts at World Relief’s office in Kent and then passes through the Tri-Cities on the way to Spokane. Proceeds are tripled to provide housing assistance, transportation, English language classes, job skills training, interview & resume preparation, and more. #

Kent Earthworks Tour The Kent Arts Commission is launching a new bike route with an inaugural bike ride. Options of 12, 20 and 23 miles visit “land art” at four area earthwork parks. Starts at Herbert Bayer Earthworks, Mill Creek Canyon Earthworks Park, 742 East Titus Street, Kent.

Mt. Adams Country Bicycle Tour — 2023 to be announced Four bike ride options up to 100 miles based in Trout Lake. Optional box lunches and post-ride meals. #

Two County Double Metric Century Ride2023 to be announced The bike ride features four distance options — 20, 50, 100 and 200km. The longest passes through Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Pacific and Lewis counties. Starts at Providence Regional Cancer Center, 4525 3rd Ave SE Ste 200, Lacey, WA 98503 # .

Quinalt Cancer Fund and Community Circle Bike Ride 2022 TBA A non-competitive, 30 mile ride around Lake Quinault on the Olympic Peninsula.  Proceeds go to benefit the Quinault Cancer Fund and Lake Quinault Community Circle.  Starts at the school in Amanda Park. Also, check out Facebook page.

Mazama — 2022 to be announced A two-day bike tour with luggage sag over the North Cascades Highway from Marblemount to Mazama and back. Presented by the Redmond Cycling Club. #

Sunride Hill Climb — 2022 TBA This bike ride at Mt. Rainier National Park covers 40 miles up/down (20 mi climbing about 4,800′, then zooming 20 mi back down to start/finish). Starts and ends near the park’s north gate. Organized by Willy Nilly.#

    I’m coming into town to do some training on Ft. Lewis. I’m looking to rent a road and/or mountain bike for a week or so. Where should I go to rent and ride? I’ll be with a few other peeps who will want the same!

      Hey Krissy, try Woodinville Bicycle in Woodinville! They have $3,300 Specialized Roubaix bikes available for rent at $75 for three days. Not cheap, but excellent bikes!!
