A one-week summer job might not be everyone's idea of a lifetime experience, unless that job is working behind the scenes at the 2011 Tour de France.
Bike-maker Cannondale is running a contest this spring to choose one person to work with the Liquigas-Cannondale pro cycling team during one week of the Tour, which rolls out July 2 through July 24.
To win, contestants must submit a one- to two-minute video to Cannondale's Facebook page telling how cycling has affected their life and the most memorable moment of the Tour de France. A bicycle (not necessarily a Cannondale) must appear in the video.
The submission window is May 1 through June 3. See the contest rules page at Cannondale.
Later, fans will vote on the top entrants at Cannondale's Facebook page or Peloton Magazine's Facebook page.
In addition to the “job,” free hotel and air fare, the winner gets a Cannondale Supersix with SRAM drivetrain, a SUGOI kit, and year subscription to Peloton Magazine.
