If you are at all interested in mountain biking, you’ll want to pay a visit to the Evergreen Mountain Bike Fest this weekend at Duthie Hill Park in Issaquah.
A visit to this county park dedicated to such mountain biking pursuits as trail-riding, pump-track riding and stunts is worthwhile anytime.
On Saturday and Sunday, however, vendors will be on hand to display their merchandise and provide demo fleets of nearly 20 bike brands.
Those wanting to improve their skills can participate in beginning and intermediate rides with instructors. There’s even a women’s-only ride.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children, who can participate in instructor rides and games.
Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, which presents this bike fest every year, suggests car-pooling as parking is limited. See the map below.
The event runs 9 to 5 on Saturday and 9 to 3 on Sunday. See the mountain bike fest schedule.
