Browsing through the bicycle videos on YouTube this past weekend, I stumbled across this bike that reminds me of those low-riders outfitted with hydraulics.
The bike solves the problem for those who like the idea of a tall bike to see over traffic, but don't like the idea of mounting or dismounting it.
It looks like the front fork is elongated and lifts the bike when the rider pushes away the handlebars. Somehow the seat stay and chain stay rise so the crossbar remains parallel to the ground.
I did a cursory search online, but couldn't find how it works. Instructables.com didn't even have anything that looked like it.
It's a cool gadget, so I'll just leave it at that.
