The cycling team from Great Britain continues to blow away the competition at the Laoshan Velodome in the Beijing Olympics, following on the heels of successes in women's road cycling.
The Brits medalled in all three contests on Saturday, winning two of them outright. The British won the men's team sprint on Friday as well.
In the second day of competition at the track, Chris Hoy already has multiple gold medals.
Winning a gold medal in the men's team sprint on Friday, Hoy returned on Saturday to win gold in Men's Keirin on Saturday. Teammate Ross Edgar won silver and Nagai Kiyofumi of Japan took the bronze.
Bradley Wiggins won the finals in the men's 4000 meter individual pursuit on Saturday. He set an Olympic record, beating a mark he set in Athens in 2004, in the qualifying round. Another Brit, Steven Burke, won a bronze medal in the event and Hayden Roulston of New Zealand took the silver.
The only contest in which Great Britain didn't win gold was the Men's Point Race, although Chris Newton of Great Britain did take the bronze. Spain's Joan Llaneras won gold in the Men's Points Race. It was the 39-year-old's third consecutive medal in the event over the past three Olympic Games. Roger Kluge of Germany finished with a silver medal.
