If you've been following this blog, you'd know that my son and I will be riding the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic this Saturday and Sunday. Third time for me, first for him.
We've cleaned, lubed and tuned the bikes. Now it's time to pack for the overnight camping at Chehalis and figure out how to get a good night's sleep.
On Saturday and Sunday, we'll be filing live updates on the STP ride to the BikingBis blog. These updates may not be too helpful for those in the ride, but your friends and family might enjoy reading some of what you're experiencing along the way.
Some of those updates will be in the form of Twitter feeds, which you've been seeing at right over the past few days, entitled “STP Updates.” Also, if you Twitter, you can follow BikingBis.
We'll also shoot some images along the way and endeavor to file those by cellphone. They might not be the best quality images, but they will be fresh.
If you want to hook up, just look for the skinny old fart with a gray beard and black grit under his fingernails. We'll be at the brown dome tent at Chehalis.
Good luck and safe riding.
