On a clear day, you can bicycle forever

This cyclist appears to be riding toward the base of Mt. Rainier from Renton on an unusually clear day on Saturday. From this point on Lake Washington Boulevard, however, the dormant volcanco is about 50 miles away.

Many bicycle riders took to the streets around the Puget Sound on Saturday as the weekend weather turned sunny. Some might be making up for lost training time as today marks two weeks until the 29th annual Seattle-to-Portland Bicycle Classic.
