More week-long bike tours are updated at my Across State Bicycle Tour page.
While checking the dates and routes, I unearthed the minor news that Bicycle Idaho has been scrubbed this year, replaced by the Washington Bicycle Ride in 2007. The organizers, the same folks who do the Oregon Bicycle Ride, moved the operation across the border for a ride through rural eastern Washington.
Fear not, Idaho bicycle lovers. The Treasure Island YMCA is putting on Ride Idaho for the third year with a 400-some mile loop starting in Coeur d'Alene.

Tour BC is offering a 500-mile tour from July 15 -21.
The Denver Post Ride the Rockies firmed up the dates for June 17 – 23; route information is due online on February 4. You might notice that the Bicycle Tour of Colorado runs from June 24 – 30. Got a two-week vacation?
Ride Idaho is Aug. 5 – 11 this year, while Bicycle Idaho has been moved to Washington to become Washington Bicycle Ride.
The Great Illinois Trails and Parks bike tour (GITAP) is slated for June 17-23 this year, covering 315 to 565 miles on a loop that begins and ends in Oswego. The Northern Illinois Ride is on for its second year; dates are July 28 – Aug. 3.
Registration is open for RAGBRAI XXXV, July 22 – 28. No route online.
The Border Raiders bike tour, which visits sites in four states involved in the Civil War-era Border Wars, in back from June 23 – 30, starting and ending in Lawrence.
A major bummer is the closing of the Moose Tour after 13 years. Maine fanatics can ride in the Trek Across Maine, a Maine Lung Association bike ride on June 15-17, or contact InMotion Events about this private tour company's June 23-29 MOOSA bike ride.
Cycle Across Maryland is centering its long-weekend tour — June 12-15 — on the Eastern Shore.
Pan Mass Challenge, a two-day bike ride is scheduled for Aug. 4 and 5. The nation's biggest fund-raising sports event cleared $26 million for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2006.
The organizers of Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska are charting a route to prove their state is not flat June 10-16.
Meanwhile, OATBRAN (One Awesome Tour Bike Ride Across Nevada) proves that Route 50 is still the loneliest highway in the US from Sept. 23-29.
Five Hundred Miles Across New York (aka Great Big FANY Ride) sets out July 22-28. About half the 400-mile distance of Cycling the Erie Canal — July 8-15 — is on bike trails this year. The 200-mile Great Hudson Valley Pedal — August 13-19 — also passes along off-road trails and designated state bikes routes.
Cycling Around North Dakota in Sakakawea Country (CANDISC) leads cyclists from the Missouri River to the Turtle Mountains on Aug. 4-11.
The completion of the Great Allegheny Passage, which opens up an off-road bike route all the way from Pittsburgh to Washington DC, prompted the Rails to Trails Conservancy to organize the Greenway Sojourn 2007 on the Great Allegheny and C&O Canal from June 23-30.
The Washington Bicycle Ride tours eastern Washington from July 29 to August 3; the Cascade Bicycle Club's Ride Around Washington (RAW) is scheduled August 4-10. Another two-week vacation possiblity.
