… on your torso, on your shades, in your portfolio, etc….
The branding of Lance Armstrong is heading into your home. The kitchen to be exact.
Housewares manufacturer Chantal, in cooperation with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, is introducing a line of products in yellow stamped with the LiveStrong emblem. The Chantal products include tea kettles, tea pots, coffee and latte mugs, large and small serving plates, and more. They can be ordered online.
A portion of the proceeds — 5% to 10% depending on the product — will go to the foundation's work to support cancer survivors. Heidi Thurlow, founder and CEO of Chantal, is herself a cancer survivor.
The houseware collection is just another in a long-line of Armstrong branded products that have come along in recent years.
What was the first?
Maybe it was an Armstrong-branded bicycle. Trek currently sells a limited edition Armstrong Madrone 5.9 for $7,000. Or sunglasses. Oakley currently sells shades with Armstrong's signature.
Undoubtedly the biggest sellers has been the ubiquitous yellow LiveStrong wristband, with some 55 million sold.
More merchandise is available from Nike. There's an Alp D'Huez shoe, and a collection of seven T-shirts with the 10//2 theme, marking the day Armstrong learned he had cancer.
Not content to wear your support for Armstrong, you can buy into the LiveStrong portfolio from American Century Investments.
