If you're looking for something to do on the last Saturday night (Aug. 26) of the month, roll on down to Seattle's Bike-In at Magnuson Park. Presented by the Cascade Bicycle Club and the Northwest Film Forum, the free event features bicycle-themed films on a big outdoor screen, live music and biking demos.

We're not talking “Breaking Away” or “Pee-wee's Big Adventure” here. According to an e-mail from Cascade, the films include Louis Malle's “Viva le Tour”, a 1950s vintage cycling safety short, and locally produced satirical looks at Seattle bicycle friendliness and the life of a tricycle messenger.

Also featured are live performances by Locust Dance Company, Kurt Liebert's sonic art project, the Orchestra Zirconium dance band, and more.

The Seattle Bike-In runs from 7 to 11 p.m., Aug. 26 at Magnuson Park on Sand Point Road in Seattle.
