Look for a mano a mano battle between two Spaniards for the title at the final stage of the Tour de Romandie bike race on Sunday.
Alberto Contador (Liberty Seguros) leads Alejandro Valverde (Caisse d'Epargne-Illes Balears) by just 6 seconds going into the day's 12.6-mile individual time trial in Lausanne.
Contador took the leader's jersey from the shoulders of American Chris Horner on Friday; Valverde won Saturday's 79-mile mountainous stage to bring him within striking distance of Contador.
Australian Cadel Evans (Davitamon) is in third place, 24 seconds out. Horner has dropped to 10th place at 1:14 behind.
The Tour de Romandie is warm-up for the Giro d'Italia, which starts next weekend. It has also served as a re-entry to cycling for Jan Ullrich, who sat out most of the spring with a knee injury. Present but not competing, Ullrich is in 121st place, 48 minutes out of first.
