The Outdoor Life Network once again is offering live coverage of this year's Giro d'Italia at its OLNTV website.

The streaming broadband feed of the three-week Italian cycling classic is being offered Monday through Saturday in partnership with Cycling.TV.  On Sundays, Giro fans will need to tune into OLN for its Cyclysm coverage at 5 p.m. (ET).

According to OLN:

Cycling fans will be able to watch the Monday through Saturday stages of the Giro d’Italia, as well as the aforementioned highlights, without commercial interruption for only $19.99. Sign ups will begin on April 3. All video will include English commentary and will appear in an OLN video player powered by Cycling.TV. …

The partnership with Cycling.TV also includes race highlights from other world class cycling races, like the Milan-San Remo and the Tirreno-Adriatico.

Since this is live streaming, you might need to use some type of video capture software if you want to save it for later viewing. WM Recorder offers that software, although I'm sure there are plenty of packages out there.

Speaking of video, there's a trailer for the race at the official Giro d'Italia website (would it kill them to have an English version?). The 2006 Giro runs from May 6-28 with the first three stages in Belgium, where many Italians once worked in coal mines.

See OLNTV for the full press release.
