TM Advertising president David Lyon is leaving to become marketing head at the Lance Armstrong Foundation, according to AdWeek.
Dallas-based TM, a member of the giant Interpublic Group, counts ExxonMobil among its clients. It recently lost Subaru, which you'll remember has had Armstrong as a spokesman. Lyon's arrival could bring more punch to the foundation that seems to have no problems with publicity.
Lyon said the move is a personal decision, triggered by the loss of his daughter to cancer.
