Remember the lawsuit filed earlier this year by Mike Anderson? He claimed former boss Lance Armstrong promised him hundreds of thousands of bucks to open a bike shop, then reneged.
The lawsuit was settled out of court last week, reports the Austin American-Statesman. No details were given in a statement to the press, except:
“Lance and Mike have wished each other the best of luck in the future.”
A former employee at an Austin bike shop, Anderson got a job as a personal assistant to Armstrong. Anderson claimed that Armstrong promised to pay him $300,000 to set him up in business, but later fired him.
Along the way Anderson also alleged that he found a small box of what he called a steroid precursor in Armstrong's home in Girona, Spain. He also claimed Armstrong would yell and curse at motorists.
Armstrong's lawyers disputed those claims.
