Rack recalled; hang that bicycle somewhere else

The Picasso Two Bike Folding Rack is being recalled by the Delta Cycle Corp. in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The wall rack with a collapsible shelf isn't sold with sufficient hardware to hold its weight to the wall, causing it to fall. The CPSC reports one incident of a rack falling, but no injuries.

The rack is manufactured in Taiwan and China and imported by Delta Cycle in Foxboro, Mass. About 3,500 of the racks were sold January 2002 through September 2005 by LL Bean, Bike Nashbar, and independent retailers.

Consumers can contact Delta for more hardware and mounting instructions. Either call at 1-800-474-6614 or visit the company's website.
