More Armstrong appearances in Wisconsin, Colorado

It's a little bit like “Where's Waldo?” If you look close enough, you might be able to find Lance Armstrong making appearances in August.

The Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team official fan club, The Paceline, reports that Armstrong is scheduled to open a 24-Hour Fitness Club Wednesday, August 17, in Lowry, Colorado. No time was given. The 24-Hour Fitness website lists a Lowry Sport club at 7600 E. Academy Blvd., Denver, CO 80230. Phone number is 303-343-1049. (UPDATE: Armstrong is mobbed at the appearance.)

Armstrong is opening several “signature” health clubs for 24-Hour Fitness, joining sports celebrities Shaquille O'Neal, Andre Agassi, and Magic Johnson. His first was in hometown Austin, Texas.

Also, the Wisconsin State Journal reports that Armstrong is expected to address bike dealers at the Trek Bicycle show Aug. 17-22 at Monona Terrace, although his attendance couldn't be confirmed as of Tuesday. (UPDATE: Armstrong addresses 2,000 bike professionals at Trek show. )

According to the article, the show is for dealers and is not open to the public. Also, Trek is skipping Interbike, scheduled from Sept. 28-30 in Las Vegas.
