The “off-site” location was the Patuxent Wildlife Research Research Center property in nearby (20 minutes) Beltsville, Maryland. He was probably aboard Mountain Bike One, a Trek that is Bush's favorite bike.
According to presidential financial disclosure forms published in the Buffalo News, the $2,700 bike is a gift of John Burke, president of Trek Bicycle Corp. in Waterloo, Wisc.
